A DAY IN THE LIFE OF INDIA

Times Of India has started a campaign bout "a day in the life of India" some time back.. a full fledged page in fact the front page was dedicated to this campaign on 3rd Feb..which according to me was simply Disgusting..! A couple of days back t v people have started to show some ads bout it...and they have offered prize money fr the ppl who are interested to participate in this campaign..coming back to the front page of times of India..only thing highlighted on that was SARCASM and fun was made outta everything that goes on in day to day life of people of India..Indians are out there making fun of their own nation and nobody is protesting against this offensive campaign..

"Apart from the fun & fame that you will get through this campaign on selection of your entry as one among the best, there are also cash prizes for the best entries to make this really worth your while." this is how campaign ppl are advertising about the cash prizes...now people can go up to dis extent to have fun and to get fame..

this should have been a neutral thing and whatever one feels bout India should have contributed to it..but why the hell is it being projected only in a negative way?? funny and taunting cartoons...taunting ads..unnecessarily making a propaganda out of the various rituals and traditions being followed in India....

India is not only about corruption, poverty, jugaad, chaos etc etc...its also about the rich heritage, the traditions which we have been able to maintain till date..respect..love and many more qualities..

so why is this "wrong" concept is being advertised on national television?? and above all..why the hell are people enjoying it?? its our nation..we live in it..we survive because of it...we never make fun of our families...why..because we belong to them..even if they have flaws...we never criticize them in public ally...

then why are people doing this to India..? dun we belong to our nation as well?? and the we expect the rest of the world to give us respect..! this is wrong..the concept shouldn't have been projected so negatively...m totally against it..and since i consider myself lucky to be a part of India..m bringing this issue to everyone's notice....

n i really wish that such campaigns or any such future  attempt to criticize India should be condemned..

we should be proud of our roots...if India has flaws..den steps should be taken to mend em..not to make fun or fame or money out of them...
On a soft morning, dew drops rest softly on whatever, which is ready to keep them for a while...they are to go anywhere...flowers..leaves..grasses..window panes..   sometimes while sitting idly..I silently observe the drops..settled on the panes..a couple of them will turn from shiny little drops glistening on the glass to drops of water which slowly fall down marking a small path and merging other drops with them.. one can clearly see across the glass from those short marks....I feel that the future is also like a glass window with the dew drops on it... till we are inside the room..its all cold and we can't see anything.. There are those iron fittings which present those parts of future , which will remain unseen no matter how clear the glass will become until unless the window gets opened and we actually step into the future as present....but that is the invisible part...but regarding the unclear part, eventually as sun shines up..drops start melting and clearing some tiny pieces so that we can take a little glimpse of future, though we are never sure of what we have seen till now! and finally when the right time comes..and with the whole shining sun..the glass becomes crystal clear and whole picture becomes visible..Nobody assures that the picture that comes ahead is always favorable...but even if its not..we can always gather strength to cope up with it..and with a hope that next day...before it is known, that what lays ahead, the glass becomes hazy..with some new drops...with some new things to reveal...it'll all be good...:)
